Voices Against Violence presents the second annual altares exhibit
dedicated to women who have died because of domestic violence,
presented at the Narciso
Martinez Cultural Arts Center in San Benito. Stay tuned for time and
opening dates to this exhibit. The exhibit will run for the month of
Café Revolución invites artists/creators/writers/activists of our
community to send in a one page proposal for an Altar de Muertas
honoring and remembering mujeres who have died due to domestic
violence, violence against women, unjust laws or women who gave their
lives for social/political/economic justice. We will also have a
community altar-bring photos & mementos to add to the community altar.

There is still time to submit a proposal for an altar, deadline of October the 15th, set up at the Narciso Martinez Cultural Arts Center on October 27th.

We are also in need of poets and musicians to fit the theme of the night for our opening reception.
