AUSTIN: Building Social Justice Workers Defense Project -- NOV 7

Building Austin, Building Social Justice

Workers Defense Project, an Austin-based community organization that

defends the rights of immigrants in the workplace, will partner with

a coalition of U.T. researchers to undertake an analysis of the construction industry.


The research aims to better understand the working conditions and needs of both

workers and employers in the industry, as well as the dynamics

affecting the health of an industry so vital to Austin's economy and

development.
